Joseph Ruppert Riley

Joseph Ruppert Riley, born December 10, 1947, in Anderson, Indiana, to Richard and Dora Dean Riley, passed away on February 26, 2025, in Chesterfield, Indiana.

Joe grew up in Anderson, Indiana and attended Great Commission School and in his younger years, attended Main Street Church of God. He worked as an auto body repairman and took pride in his work. He enjoyed playing solitaire, mowing the yard when he was able, and spending time talking with and greeting people at The Waters of Chesterfield.

Joe is survived by wife Terry Riley; children Lora, Lisa, Misty (Kevin) White, Mat Newby, Jolene (Drew) Balistrire, Brandon, Elijah, Jeramiah, Richard, and Adam Riley; caregiver Misty Crabbe; Siblings Jane Hudspeth, Darrell Riley, RA Riley, and John Riley; and 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by Parents Richard and Dora Dean Riley; daughter Melissa Fox; and sisters Irma King, Fay Bales, Sue Bricker, Paula Lambert, and Janet Riley.

A visitation will be held at Legacy Funeral Home of Tuesday March 4th, 2025, from 12pm – 2pm with a service at 2pm officiated by Pastor Carl Stagner.
