Juanita M. Crisp

Juanita Marie Crisp, 92, of Anderson, passed away on September 10, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 20, 1934, in Old Hickory, Tennessee, to her parents, William "Arthur" and Evelyn Anderson.

Juanita graduated DuPont High School in 1953.

She married her husband, Charles Crisp Jr., in 1953, and together they raised five children. She devoted her life to her family, embracing her role as a homemaker and creating a warm, loving, and comforting home for her family.

She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Anderson. She lived an active and fulfilling life, enjoying swimming, biking, and walking. She also loved playing Euchre, Dominoes, and Yahtzee and she was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.

Juanita is survived by her five children, Cheryl Crisp, Pam Umberger, Tony (Amy) Crisp, Ken (Brenda) Crisp and Doug (Ronda) Crisp; eleven grandchildren, Erika (Aaron) Zirkle, Kylie (Bryan) Rector, Alex (Katelyn) Umberger, Bradley Crisp, Kayla (Jackson) Olson, Kelsey Crisp, Scott Crisp, Andrew Crisp, Bailey Crisp, Mason Crisp and Sydney Crisp; nine great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Zirkle, Abby Zirkle, Luke Zirkle, Dax Rector, Charlee Rector, Josie Umberger, Lily Umberger, Eden Olson and Archer Olson; special friend, Carol Reedy and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles Crisp Jr; her parents and her siblings.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, Anderson, Indiana, 46013.

Services will follow visitation on Monday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Sheridan officiating.

Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson, Indiana.
