Judith Ann Hensley

Judith Ann (York) Hensley, 79, of Anderson, passed away surrounded by her family on July 3, 2024. She was born on January 29, 1945, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Chester and Thelma (McShurley) York.

Judy graduated from Yorktown High School in 1963, and earned a comptometer and accounting degree from Indiana Business College in Muncie.

She worked in the advertising department for the Anderson Herald Bulletin until her retirement in 1998.

Judy is survived by her loving son, Robert Eugene Faucett of Asheboro, NC; step-children, Melinda Faucett, Melissa Faucett, Vicky Hensley, Cathy (Keith Vores) Swafford, Shelly (Vaughn) McCoy, Ted (Vickie) Magers, Bill (Judy) Magers, Peggy (Mike) Reynolds, Susie (Derek) Hansen, Patty (David) Hart, Mike (Tamera) Magers, and Mary Ann (Tony) Skinner; 17 grandchildren; Thomas, Krista, Katie, Danielle, Evan, Austin, Julie, Stacy, Stephen, David, Ben, Meghan, Mandy, Christina, Addi, Liz, and Emily; and several great-grandchildren. Also, surviving is her brother, Bill York, niece and nephew, Jamie and Jeff, and many other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 16 years, Bob Hensley; and granddaughter, Kristy Moore.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, at The Community Room at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at Anderson Memorial Park.
