Judith "Judy" Faye Raper

Judith Faye "Judy" (Davis) Raper, 87, of Anderson passed away on August 10, 2023 at Community Hospital Anderson following a sudden stroke.

She was born on May 24, 1936 in Lafayette, IN to Clement Cleo and Dorothy Madeline (Smith) Davis. She graduated from Anderson High School in the class of 1953. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. A former member of Kappa Kappa Kappa sorority in Anderson. She enjoyed traveling especially to Panama City Beach, FL; boating and being on the water; long drives and watching basketball on TV.

She is survived by her four children, Mike (Melody) Raper of Muncie, Jill (Kevin) Marshman of Fishers, Andy (Laurie) Raper and Scott (Amber Waters) Raper all of Anderson; nine grandchildren, Gabe, Ashley, Josh, Miranda (Adam), Haley, Kyra (Adam), Brooke, Avery (Jerred), and Zuri; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Jack Raper in 2016; a grandson, Mitch Raper; and a granddaughter, Lindsay Michelle.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor John Jameson officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park or other Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm-2:00pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association or Autism Speaks.
