Julia Goodwin

Julia Goodwin, 90, passed away Oct. 24, 2025.
Julia was born Nov. 3, 1934 to Louis and Mariam Townsend. She was a 1953 Anderson High School graduate and retired from Fort Benjamin Harrison Finance Center. Julia enjoyed watching basketball, going to the State Fair and spending time with family and friends.
Julia is survived by her son Marvin Goodwin; sisters Hattie (Charles) Hobson, Rebecca Townsend, Mary Gray; brothers Harold Townsend, Richard (LaRoyna) Townsend and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be noon Friday at Wallace Temple AME Zion, 1518 Forkner St., with visitation 2 hours prior to service. Burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
