Julie Ellen Meyer

Apr 29, 1960 — Aug 13, 2026

Julie Ellen Meyer, 66, of Muncie, passed away peacefully at home on August 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on April 29, 1960 in Muncie, Indiana, to her parents Nancy Vaughn and Michael Eidson.

Julie graduated in the class of 1978 from Madison Heights High School.

After graduating, Julie worked for several years building transmissions at BorgWarner. She later worked as a Tool and Die Quality Control Inspector for Taurus Tool, GSC Manufacturing, and Major Tool & Supply. She eventually discovered her true passion in life, decorating cakes, a talent that brought her great joy and allowed her creativity to shine.

She fiercely loved her family, friends and fur babies. Julie found great joy in tending to her garden and growing fresh vegetables, which she often incorporated into meals she prepared for her family. She treasured spending time outdoors with her sister, especially camping and fishing, and loved creating lasting memories along the way. She enjoyed NASCAR racing, becoming an avid fan of the sport in her younger years. She was also a self-proclaimed Indianapolis Colts fanatic. Julie also enjoyed entertaining family and friends at her pool, creating a welcoming oasis where many wonderful memories were shared.

Julie is survived by her husband of six years, Ronald "Ronnie" Meyer, three sons, Ryan Baker, Dillon (Hillary) Hiatt and Adam (Kerrigan) Brosio; step-daughter, Anna (Matt) Brosio; step-son, Chris Meyer; grandchildren, Jadin Meyer, Hattie Brosio and Haiden and Braiden Buck; her mother, Nancy Vaughn; her father, Michael (Kristy) Eidson; sister, Brenda Bucci; brother, Todd (Heather) Grissom; niece, Haylee Russell and nephew, Brandon Russell.
