Kenneth Samuel Gibbons

Kenneth Samuel Gibbons, 72, of Anderson, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 16, 1953, in Anderson, Indiana to his parents, Richard and Betty Gibbons.

Kenneth graduated from Anderson High School.

He retired from Porter Engineered Systems after working 40 years as an electrician.

He served as the president of the Shady Side Little League for over thirteen years. Not only was he the president, but he also coached and managed several teams throughout the years.

Kenneth was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. Outside of spending time with his family, his favorite pass-time was tinkering with things in his garage.

Kenneth is survived by his children, Todd (Lydia) Gibbons, Brad (Christy) Gibbons, and Missy (James) Teaney; grandchildren, Logan Gibbons, Caleb Gibbons, Jordan (Jarod Miller) Gibbons, Andrew Teaney, Addison Teaney, Michael Clendenin, and Kyle Gibbons; great-grandson Paxton Gibbons; brothers, Bob Gibbons and RJ Gibbons; sisters, Mary Johnson and Priscilla Johnson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 32 years, Rita Gibbons; sons, Thomas and Robert Gibbons; brothers, David Gibbons and Barry Gibbons; and sister, Rhonda Johnson.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 05, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Thursday, February 06, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN.

Services will be Thursday, following visitation at 11:30 am, with Pastor Walt Weaver officiating.

Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
