Larry Beehler, 94, passed away on November 4, 2024. A proud graduate of Purdue University, he showcased his passion for music as a member of the Purdue Band. Larry served as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He worked as an engineer at Delco Remy in Anderson, IN and retired after 24 years. Larry’s love for music flourished alongside his late wife, Louise, as they shared their voices in the Anderson First United Methodist Church choir and the Anderson Symphonic Choir. Larry's lighthearted spirit and kindness touched everyone around him, leaving a legacy of joy and inspiration.
Surviving are daughters, Nancy (Carl) Etchison and Sandra (Greg) Francis, grandchildren, Leigh Ann Sharp, Lisa (John) Culkin, Steven (Rachel) Etchison, Cristy (Chad) Burris, Kevin (Mindy) Cavender, Kyle Cavender, Megan Francis, and Ryan Francis, 14 great-grandchildren, brother Roger Beehler, and son-in-law Cary Cavender.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Beehler, daughter, Karen Cavender, and parents, Earl and Margaret Beehler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. Services start at 1:00 pm, all at Loose Funeral Home 200 W. 53 St. Anderson, IN. Burial following at Anderson Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Anderson First United Methodist Church, Music Dept., 1215 Jackson St, Anderson, IN 46016.
