Larry E. Cleveland

"Coach" Larry Cleveland 86, passed away on February 28, 2024. He was born September 14, 1937, to the late Aubrey and Mary Cleveland, in Elwood, IN. Larry served in the U.S. Army Reserves, Graduated from Ball State University, and retired from Delco Remy after 35 years of dedicated service. Coach Larry was passionate about sports and coached 33 years of Little League Baseball and 28 years as an elementary, junior high, and AAU Basketball coach. One of his AAU basketball teams came in second place in a national tournament.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rebecca Cleveland; son, Scott Cleveland; daughter, Shelley Cleveland; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both parents and a son, Andrew Cleveland.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, with funeral services starting at 1:00 pm, all at Loose Funeral Home and Crematory, 200 W. 53 St. Anderson, IN. Donations can be made to the Animal Protection League, 613 Dewey St. Anderson, IN 46016.
