Larry E. Manship, 75, of Fishers, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on February 9, 2025, at home following a courageous battle with colon cancer. He was born on January 4, 1950, in Anderson, Indiana.

Larry was a graduate of Anderson High School, class of 1968. When it came time for college, Purdue University was his choice, where he was a member of the Sigma Pi Fraternity, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

He began his career as a civil engineer for AMOCO in New Orleans, LA. He then opened his own company, Manship Surveys, INC, in 1985. He was a member of the Mississinewa Battlefield Society, where he also served on the board of directors until 2018. He loved playing golf and got his first hole-in-one in 2023. He loved fast cars, particularly Corvettes, and had many treasures. He also served as a leader and member of the Elks.

Larry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rebecca Manship; parents, John H. and Helen Manship, Jr.; children, Scott (Emily) Manship, and Melissa (Brian) Bock; grandchildren, Christa (Jeffery) Day, Hakeem Manship, Madilyn Bock, Ella Bock; siblings, Linda Manship, Patrick (Karen) Manship, Teena (Jay) Manship Canine, and several nieces, nephews, and friends.


Visitation will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN.

Services will be on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Colon Cancer Research.
