Lewis Earl Harshman

PENDLETON- Lewis E. “Lewy” Harshman, 76, died July 19, 2023. He was born in Anderson, Indiana on February 2, 1947. Lewy was a lifelong resident of the Pendleton/Anderson area and was a 1965 graduate of Pendleton High School. He was an Army veteran and retiree of GM Delco Remy and Magnequench.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Sharon A. (Haynes) Harshman whom he married, November 24, 1968; three children, Randy Harshman, Jason Harshman and Jaime (Kevin) Hudson all of Anderson; and five grandchildren, Magnolia, Gaia (Victor), Paden, Myah and Rylie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chauncey Earl and Alice J. (Ashby) Harshman, Jr.

Services at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Wilson St. Pierre and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with burial following in Anderson Memorial Park with military honors. Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Lahm Chapel.
