Linda Chapin

Linda Chapin, 79, of Anderson, IN passed away on July 7, 2022, peacefully at her residence. She was born on February 17, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Chester and Kathryn (Collins) Skinner. She was married to her late and loving husband Ronald Chapin Sr. In Linda’s life she was a homemaker, but she did more than just that. She loved to attend her church at Main Street Church of God. She loved to use her time and donate to multiple charities. In Linda’s time she loved to work on puzzles, collect dolls, read books, sing gospel, make clothing for her family, and especially watch western tv shows with John Wayne in them. Most importantly, she loved her family and spending time with them.

Linda is survived by her sons, Ronald Chapin Jr., Tracy (Vicky) Chapin, and Rusty (Kristy) Chapin; her daughter, Angela (Tim) Bowers; her brothers, Billy (Ruth) Moto, and Paul Moto; her sisters, Eva Hinton and Alice Snider; her many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald Chapin Sr.; her daughter Cindy Hixson; and her brother, Jack Moto

The visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. The funeral ceremony will begin right at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made out to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
