Linda J. Hinkson

Linda Hinkson, 68, of Anderson, passed away on December 18, 2022, at her residence.

She was born in Anderson, the daughter of Thomas C. and Nerma J. (Boze) Shipley.

Linda graduated from Pendleton High School in 1973. After high school, she graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor's Degree.

She loved her family and friends and enjoyed being around them. Linda's infectious laugh was enjoyed by all.

Linda retired from the Madison County Government Center after over 20 years of service. Following retirement, she then worked at American Metal Coatings for approximately 5 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessamine Brewster; son, Daniel Young, (girlfriend, Shelli Frazier-Piercy); grandchildren, Logan (Kyla) McAtee, Lillian Brewster, Sloan (Jeremiah) Hinton, and Trea Piercy; great-grandchildren, Fisher Hinton, River Hinton, and Waylon Piercy; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Brenden McAtee; and sisters, Marsha Denny and Patty Brashears.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 24, 2023, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm with a memorial service starting at 4:00 pm at The Community Room at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013.
