Lisa Dawn Rodgers

Lisa Dawn Rodgers, 63, of Anderson, passed away on December 8, 2025, following a sudden illness. She was born on December 22, 1961, in Anderson, Indiana.

Lisa drove a school bus for Anderson Transit System. She was a very loving person who took care of numerous children and animals.

Lisa is survived by her children, Melissa Rodgers, Luke Jackson, and Tyler Rodgers; grandchildren; Mea Rodgers, Jayden Thomas, Jordan Thomas, Austin Mix, Tegan Roland, Aayden Roland, Chloe Rodgers, and Melody Rodgers; life partner, Troy Roland; sister, Tracy (Jimmy) Mellott; nieces and nephews, Lora (Buddy) Kindle, Natalie (Ryan) Mellott; Emily (Larry) Barker; great-nieces and nephews, Dominic Kindle, Drake Mellott, Vayda Taylor, Vance Taylor, Ella Barker, Ava Barker; half-brothers, Tommy (Andrea) Jackson, Loring (Christy) Jackson, and their families; special nephew and niece, Evan Rodgers and Grace Rodgers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Rodgers, and parents, Tommy and Betty Jackson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN.

Services will be on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park, Anderson.
