Marilyn graduated from Anderson High School as a proud Indian with the class of 1950 and remained a loyal Indian fan throughout her life. She was also an avid fan of all sports and enjoyed attending as well as watching on television.
Marilyn married Earl J. Jackson on September 14, 1952, in Summitville, with whom she enjoyed 58 years of wedded bliss.
Marilyn retired from First Savings as Vice President of Teller Operations. She was well respected and spent many years of service with the public.
She was friendly, kind, and welcoming to everyone she met. Marilyn was devoted to her family as a wife, sister, sister-in-law, and aunt.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Carolyn (Richard) Miller; brother, Keith (Joanne) Kline; sister-in-law, Wanda Kline; nieces and nephews, Kathy (Mark) Cawley, Jane (Tom) Farr, Jim (Sheryl) Kline, Cindy Arvai, Gary (René) Patton, René (Chris) Jones, Bruce (Stephanie) Patton, Cindy Patton, Stephanie Kline, Jeffrey (Lorie) Kline, Brad (Karie) Kline, Dix Ann (Joe) Campbell, and Phillip (Melinda) Nash; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brothers, Floyd Kline, Jr. and Tom Kline; sisters, Mabel Cox and Georgeanna Warriner; nieces, Paige Warriner and Tricia Warriner; nephew, Rick Patton; sister-in-law, Marjorie Kline; brother-in-law, Jim Cox; in-laws, Earl and Evia Jackson; and sister and brother-in-law, Max and Janice Nash.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Countryside's entire staff for their special care to Marilyn during her final journey.
A celebration of Marilyn's life will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 11:00 am, at the Anderson Church of the Brethren, 741 Scatterfield Rd., Anderson, IN 46012.
Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the church.
Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery
Marilyn was a member of the Anderson Church of the Brethren which was very special to her. Memorial contributions may be made to the Anderson Church of the Brethren in her honor.
