Marlene K. Brooks

Marlene K Brooks, 82, of Anderson, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 8, 1941, in Elwood, Indiana.

Marlene was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. The family would like to thank the Community Hospital Hospice staff for their great care.

Marlene is survived by her loving spouse of 63 years, Robert L. Brooks; sons, Michael Brooks, Todd Brooks, Brian (Jill) Brooks, Steven (Meredith Contos-Brooks) Brooks; siblings, Kent Tuterow, Tom (Marty) Tuterow; grandchildren, Alex Brooks, Colin Brooks, Chase Brooks, Eli Brooks, Tyler (Regan) Brooks, Kasey (Zach) Lovins, Jake Brooks, Maya Brooks, Hannah (Joshua) Benjamin, Maitland, Cade and Landan Contos-McCord; and great-grandson, Rowan Brooks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Wilma Tuterow; sister, Lois Wood; and sister-in-law, Millie Tuterow.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN followed by the service at 1:00 pm with Pastor John Hannum officiating and burial at Anderson Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospital Hospice or First Baptist Church, Anderson.
