Marvin Glen Smith

Marvin Glen Smith, 80, of Anderson, passed away on August 12, 2023, at his home surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was born on August 5, 1943, in Anderson, Indiana.

He is a retired producer for Guide Lamp division of General Motors.

He loved corvettes.

Marvin is survived by his loving spouse of 39 years, Judy Smith; children, James (Dana) Smith, Sheralyn M. Burgess, and Carinda (Shawn Schwab) Dawson; brother, Richard Lewis Smith; grandchildren, Morgan, Dalton, Devin, Zach, Tasha, and Megan and Kayden; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Larcy and Anna Mae Smith, and 7 brothers and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, from 12:00 pm -1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN. followed by the service at 1:00 pm.
