Mary Lou Bailey

Mary Lou Bailey, 91, of Anderson, passed away on June 16, 2023, at her home. She was born on January 29, 1932, in Watseka, Illinois, and resided most of her life in Anderson.

She retired as a cook for Anderson Community Schools at Northside Jr. High.

She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Mary is survived by her children; Tim (Roxanne) Bailey, Melissa (Greg) Marshall, Patrick (Anna) Bailey, Mary Ellen (Dan) Owens, Jeff (Debbie) Bailey; grandchildren, Wesley Bailey, Derek (Kellye) Bailey, Stephanie Marshall, Christopher Marshall, Dustin (Kristina) Bailey, Dawn (Louis) Lopez, Drew (Kelsey) Bailey, Dalon Bailey, Beau (Bridget) Bailey, Charles (Heather) Bailey; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Helen Harlan, Francis (Paula) Howe; brother-in-law, Raul Jimenez; sister-in-law, Debbie Howe, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward Junior Bailey; her parents, Raymond L. and Verona L. Howe; siblings, Patty Jimenez, and David Howe.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN.

Services will be Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Buhro officiating.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
