Mary Jane Stalder

She was born on August 18, 1935, in Terre Haute, IN.

Mary Jane received her nursing diploma from Union Hospital of Nursing and earned a BSN from Indiana State University in 1957.

She was a nurse at St. John’s Hospital from 1958 to 1999, retiring as the Administrative Director. Mary Jane’s community and professional affiliations included serving as president of the St. John’s Nurse Fellowship. She loved animals, traveling, and spending time with her family. She spent many days traveling with her late husband by motorcycle to 48 states.

She is survived by her children: Jeffrey (Helen) Stalder, Jerry (Susan) Stalder, and Judy Mullennax; Grandchildren: Sabrina Graves (John Paul), Ethan Stalder (Teresa), Hannah Stalder, Samantha (Dylan) Sheldon, and Jacob Mullennax; two great-granddaughters and one on the way.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband Jackie Stalder.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN, 46013, with the service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Mike Jones officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Burial to follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
