Mernarr "Beetle" Mcclendon

Mernarr “Beetle” McClendon, 60, passed away Dec. 24, 2023. Beetle was born Nov. 8, 1963 to Albert and Bertha McClendon. He was a 1985 Indiana School for the Deaf graduate. Beetle enjoyed bowling, poker, Casino and spending time with family and friends.

Beetle is survived by his daughter Jasmine (Marquis) Patrick; mother Bertha McClendon; sisters Annie “Sue” Glispie, Karen McClendon, Linda Bush, Lisa McClendon; Brothers Vaughn (Deborah) Lately, Alvin (Gwendolyn) McClendon Sr., Nathan (Ulonda) McClendon; grand dog Jerzee St. Patrick and a host of family and friends.

Beetle was preceded in death father Albert McClendon and brother Larry McClendon.

Funeral service will be noon Saturday at Anderson Zion Baptist Church, 2008 Rev. JT Menifee St., with visitation 2 hours prior to service.
Burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
