Mildred Thompson

Mildred Thompson, 101, of Anderson, passed away on September 22, 2023. She was born on November 10, 1921, in Salt Lick, KY, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Razor.

Mildred enjoyed working in her yard, growing flowers, and decorating. Her joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Parkview Wesleyan Church and decorated the church for many years.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Thompson in 1976, her parents, brothers, and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Charlotte Balser (Jeff), Sherry Hines (Dick), Nancy Shuck (Doug), and Denise Burnett; her grandchildren, Justin Shuck (Lori) and Kelly Blizzard (Adam); her great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Kayleigh, Addison, and Vienna Shuck, and Natalie and Camden Blizzard; her sister, Freda Purvis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson. Visitation will be on Monday, September 25, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
