Milton L. Mills, Jr., 90, of Bradenton, FL, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2024. He was born on February 21, 1934, in Anderson, Indiana, the son of Lydia and Milton Mills, Sr.

He was a tool and die maker for the Delco Remy Division of General Motors and retired after 35 years of service.

He was a member of Anderson First United Methodist Church and a past member of Edgewood County Club. Milton liked cars, fishing, playing cards, spending time with family and friends, and playing golf, where he had seven hole-in-ones.

Milton is survived by his loving sons, Denny Mills and Ron (Jeanette) Mills; daughter-in-law, Sally Mills; brothers, John (Barbara) Mills; Paul Mills and Bruce (Darla) Mills; brother-in-law, Jim Ault; grandchildren, Matthew Mills, Ryan (Christine) Mills, Jason (Amanda) Barnett, and Tiffany Anderson; great-grandchildren, Althea, Cecelia, Joanna, and Abraham Mills, Klayton (Kelsey) Jeffries, Haylee, Jacob, and Raelyn Barnett, Layla Raines, and Ryan Atkinson; and great-great-grandchildren, Boston and Kinsley Jeffries.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 67 years, Susie (Kirkman) Mills; son, Steve Mills; granddaughter, Holly Mills; and siblings, Richard "Dick" Mills and Marilyn Ault.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024, 9:30 am - 11:30 am at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, IN.

Services will follow visitation at 11:30 am at the funeral home with Rev. Corrine Boruff officiating.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
