Nancy Ellen Duckworth

Nancy Ellen Duckworth, 78, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at her home in Lexington, South Carolina.

Born in Anderson, she was the daughter of late Bernard and Cora Rose Vance. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1963.

Nancy was a member of the Emanuel Methodist Church in Pendleton. She had many talents and was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She enjoyed time with family and valued holiday traditions. She treasured the close friendships she had with girlfriends and sorority sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Duckworth) Wright and her husband, Reed of Lexington, South Carolina; son, Michael Brian Duckworth of Lexington, South Carolina; grandsons, Taylor Lineberry and Taylor Duckworth; and sister, Jayne (Vance) Pierce.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Michael Eugene Duckworth; and grandson, Garret Lee Wright.

A memorial will be held in Anderson, Indiana.

Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
