Nancy Lee (Collins) Spangler, 82, of Pendleton passed away on November 20, 2024 at Community Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born on July 29, 1942 in Chicago, IL to Zedric Eugene and Beatrice Maxine (Friet) Collins. When she was younger she enjoyed flying with her
father in their personal plane.

She worked at Delco Remy and Saturn for 27 years and retired in 2000.
She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Middletown Chapter #110. She enjoyed spending time with her family and babysitting for her great-grandchildren. She loved cats.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Lewis Spangler of Pendleton whom she married on December 1, 1996 in Maui, Hawaii; five children, Brenda Lee (Tim) Palmer, Marty Ray Poole, Amber (John) Longnaker, Heather (Randy) Jones, and Tiffany (Lonnie) Patton; a brother, Wayne (Cathy) Collins; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Barbara Walker; a brother, Robert Collins; and three grandchildren, Ayrika Dunwiddie, Amanda Poole, and Caleb Longnaker.

A visitation will be from 10:30am-12noon on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service (West Entrance). Order of Eastern Star Service will begin at 12 Noon on Monday with an entombment following at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
