Nancy Kay Wardwell, 79, of Anderson, passed away on July 19, 2022 at her residence. She was born on August 12, 1942 in Anderson to the late Earl and Sally (Coffin) Stokes. Nancy retired from General Motors after 20 years of service.

She is survived by her son, John (Heather) Wardwell of Anderson; grandchildren, Jonathan Wardwell and Sarah Wardwell; step grandchildren, Michael (Katie) Snyder of Chesterfield, Nicolas Synder of Greenwood, Zachary Synder of Anderson; sister, Beverly Mills of Anderson and long time friend Susan (Darin) Daniels.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, July 25th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013.

Memorial Contributions may be made to a Bassett Hound Rescue of your choice.
