Neoma Louise Sills

Neoma Louise Sills of New Albany, OH, passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 97. Born July 13, 1929, in Marion, IN, the daughter of John Guss and Maude Booher. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 2 sisters, her husband, Robert C. Sills, and her son, Roland R. Sills. Survivors include daughters Sharon Sills and Jackie Dale, grandchildren Michael (Tammy) Dale, Wendy Brown, Kristopher Massey, Nicholas (Erica) Sills, 12 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Louise was a devout Christian who loved serving her Lord and Savior at the First Church of Nazarene. She loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed embroidering, putting together puzzles, playing games, and doing crossword puzzles. She cherished her last few years being cared for by her daughter and son, Sharon and Roland Sills, and her many grandchildren. Neoma passed away peacefully with Sharon by her side. Visitation will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm – a service will follow, and Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
