Noreida Hall was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She graduated from Anderson High School with the Class of 1949. While at Anderson, she met her future husband, John E. Hall. Noreida and John married in January 1951. After high School Noreida went to the School of Comptometry and later worked for both Guide in the accounting department and Eckrich in their office. Throughout her life, she was involved with many different groups and activities. She was a Job’s daughter while a young girl. She was an active member of the Alpha Iota Master chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority until her passing. She was also actively involved in Bridge and Euchre clubs throughout her life. She was also a 4-H leader for many years. Many people will know Noreida for her passion project. She worked with the Highland Marching Highlanders, later the Anderson Marching Highlanders. She was a Uniform Lady from 1983-1986, graduating to the Head of Uniforming from 1986 – 2020. Her daughter now continues the legacy. She was known to many as Mom Hall and later Grandma Hall when her grandchildren were in the program. She touched the lives of many students throughout her years with Highland and Anderson. It was her most valued experience outside of being a mother and grandmother. She was also an avid fan of the Indianapolis 500 and was a season ticket holder for over 65 years. Noreida had many friends throughout her life, including decades of friendship with Judy Pryor and Carol Whittinger. Noreida was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Hall, her parents, Fred Miller and Ethel (Cole) Miller, and her brother, Freddy Miller. She is survived by her son, John Eric (Lisa) Hall, and her daughter C. Denise (Randy) James, her grandchildren, Jennifer Ramsey, Joshua Hall ( Brandon Peterson), Kelsey (Andres Escalante) Hall, Quinten (Jessica Hopkins), James, Ashley (Dylan) Miller, and Chester Mills II ( Amelia Ice), and her great-grandchildren, Oliver Miller, Ceilidh Miller, Amelia Johnson, and Cambri Hall. Noreida is also remembered by many loving friends, honorary children, and honorary grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with the burial to follow in Anderson Memorial Park
