Norm retired from Guide Lamp in 1987 after over 37 years of service.
He was an avid supporter and booster of the Anderson Indians and the Lady Tribe for over 50 years. Norm also loved the Pacers and the Chicago Cubs. He enjoyed working in the yard and loved his dogs. Nothing was more important to him than his family.
Norm was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson, James Sullivan, his granddaughter, Marcie Eiler, his great-grandsons, Bryce Patterson and Chance Cosgrove, and his siblings, Nondas Williams, Henry Eiler, and Marilyn Thornburg.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Eiler; his children, Brenn Eiler-Bell (Jeff), Steve Eiler (Holly), John Eiler (Leona), Brad Isaacs (Margo), and Cindy Anderson (Mark); his grandchildren, Jimmy Denny, Christi Patterson, Amy Chason, Jake Eiler, Justin Eiler, Jenna Eiler, Angie Clark, J. T. Eiler, Grace Cosgrove, Bear Isaacs, Derek Isaacs, Kent Anderson, and Paige Anderson; 26 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren; and his canine companions, Gunner, Ginger, and Molly.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, with Pastor Dennis Roberts officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
