Norma Jean Roemer

Norma graduated from St. Mary's High School, Class of 1948.

She retired as a service desk clerk for 17 years at K-mart and had previously worked at Hoosier Market, Spiegel. After retirement, she worked at Flowers by Mary Jane.

She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

Norma is survived by her children, Edward (Sarah) Roemer, Victor (Darlene) Roemer, and Veronica Laughlin; grandchildren, Joshua Laughlin, Nika (Derrick) Hudson, James (Amanda) Roemer II, Jean Ann (Paul) Farrell, Ann Roemer, Abbie (Chris) Fellers, Joe (Sherri) Roemer, Ann (Tim) Willoughby, and Audra Gutierrez, daughter-in-law, Kathy (Harold) Johnson; several great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Roemer; son, James Andrew Roemer; grandson, Mark Roemer, parents, Joseph and Marie Tegge; siblings, Louise "Winnie" O'Neill, Robert Tegge, Joseph Tegge, Rose Marie Minton; close friend, Father David Clifford.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022, 11:00 am - 1:30 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street Anderson, IN.

Services will be Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 2:00 pm at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Rev. David Hellman officiating.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
