Oliver Thomas Motsinger, 94, of Anderson, passed away on April 8, 2025 at his home following a brief illness .
He was born on January 24, 1931 to Charles and Daisy (Buckles) Motsinger at Pendleton, IN. He graduated from at Markelville High School class of 1949. Oliver worked as a Stationary Engineer for Guide Lamp division of General Motors retiring in 1994. On February 20, 1954 he married the love of his life, Dianna Straub at Sulfridge Airforce Base in Michigan. Oliver and Diana lived in Anderson, IN. Oliver had been a Staff Seargent in the Military Police for the U.S. Airforce during the Korean War.
He was a of Member of the United Auto Workers Union Local #663/ attended St. Ambrose Catholic Church/ enjoyed sports of all kinds especially basketball and track and field events.
Oliver is survived 2 sons, John Motsinger, James A. Motsinger (Michelle), 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife of 60 years, Diana, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Brown, son, Michael S. Motsinger, daughter, Christy A. Rodecap, brother, Floyd E. Motsinger.
Cremation has been chosen with a private family gathering at a later date. Loose Funeral Home and Crematory is entrusted with these arrangements. Cremated remains to be inurned at the Anderson Memorial Park.
