Pamela Jo Cook, 65, passed away at her home on September 24, 2022, following a brief illness.

She was born on February 9, 1957, in Baltimore, Maryland to Dwight H. and Ada Lee Cross and resided in Anderson for most of her life. Pam was a graduate of Alexandria High School, Class of 1975.

Pam worked in banking for more than 20 years, becoming regional manager before parting ways to work for St. John's /Ascension Anderson as an insurance billing specialist, retiring in 2020.

Pam was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time in the kitchen especially around the holidays, creating delicious meals for her family. Pam was a skilled crocheter, often making gifts for family and friends. One of her favorite pastimes included cheering on her kids and grandkids during all their events. Pam always went above and beyond for her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pam is survived by her loving spouse, Jon, whom she married May 13, 1977; sons, Joshua (Misty Somers) Cook and Justin (Brittney Shoemaker) Cook; beloved grandson, Hunter; grandchildren, Drew, Alex, Justice, Cole, Jacob, and her fur baby, Abby.

She was preceded in death by her parents and in-laws, John and Ruth Ellen Cook.

The family would like to give special thanks to her good friend, Pat Smith, and Kelly of SouthernCare, for all the love and care you showed Pam.

Private visitation will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street Anderson, IN.

Graveside Services will be Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 1:30 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
