Pamela Townsend

Heaven welcomed Pam and joyfully celebrates her arrival and she is well again.

Pam was a 1961 graduate of Anderson High School. She then attended and graduated from the Methodist School of Nursing in Indianapolis. Pam became a registered nurse and was a director of nursing at many nursing homes throughout Anderson.

Pam attended Ovid Community Church. She was passionate about flower gardening, animals, and spending time with her family.

In 2017, Pam conquered a courageous battle by becoming a transplant recipient.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her three children in infancy, Pamela, Mark, and Heather.

Pam is survived by her husband of 58 years, Brooks Townsend, Pendleton; her children, Tara Champetier (Vincent), Geneva, Switzerland, and Kim Davis, Pendleton; her grandchildren, Riley Davis, Claire Champetier, and Max Champetier; her sister, Carol Huseby (Rolf), Louisville, KY; and her beloved cat, "Sassy".

Services will be Friday, February 4, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, with Pastor Keith Wooden officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
