Peggy L. Paynter

She was born on January 10, 1931, in Anderson, the daughter Harold and Pearl (Gipe) Hosier.

Peggy had worked in retail sales for F.W. Woolworth's, retiring after 18 years of service.

She loved to cook and also enjoyed cleaning.

Peggy is survived by her children, Bob Paynter and Dawn Gibbs; grandchildren, Clint (Lacey) Gibbs and Tyler (Ashley) Paynter; great-grandchildren, Ian and Odin Paynter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob D. Paynter; and son-in-law, John Gibbs.

Visitation will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN, 46013, on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Ed Ensley officiating.

Entombment will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protection League.
