Phillip R. Hall, 64, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on September 15, 2025. Born and raised in Anderson, Indiana, Phillip lived a full and meaningful life marked by love, service, and curiosity.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Phillip served his country with honor, completing the demanding 9 Megan March and traveling extensively throughout Germany. His dedication and perseverance continued beyond his military service-he went on to earn a degree in biomedical engineering, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
Phillip was known for his kind, generous, and free-spirited nature. A true hippie at heart, he had a deep love for the outdoors, travel, and above all, his family. Phillip was deep rooted in his faith and was a very strong believer. His warmth, humor, and wisdom touched everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved daughters: Stacy Walker (Jerry), Kathryn Hall (Andrew), and Christina Hall (Nate); his sisters Dondeena Hall and Katrina Carrillo (Arnie); his cherished grandchildren: Jaythan, Aidyn, Logan, Kamdyn, Faith, and Isabella; great-grandson Lincoln; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special friend, Teresa Hall (Paul).
Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, Inez Jean Kidd Hall and Phillip R. Hall; his sister Philomena Diehl; his brother David Hall; and his niece Milena Virostek.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 10:00am - 1:00pm at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013.
A funeral service celebrating his life will follow visitation on Saturday at at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Cable officiating. Burial will conclude service at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with military funeral honors conducted by the United States Army and the Daleville American Legion.
