He was born on May 24, 1930, in Lima, Ohio to Richard Everett and Georgianna (Cabe) Renbarger.
Raymond was graduated in 1948 from Lapel High School.
He retired in 1981 from the former Best Ever Dairy in Anderson.
Raymond was a member of the Mount Moriah Lodge No. 77; the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis; and the Madison County Shrine Club.
He is survived by four daughters, Cathy (David) Hardwick, Susan (Gerald) Horning, Amy (Max) Burton, and Jenny (Terry) Corbett; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a brother, Roger (Leah Sue) Renbarger; a sister, Ida Belle Mills; two sisters-in-law, Judy Renbarger and Sue Renbarger; a brother-in-law, Duane Dickerson; and several nieces and nephews.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 64 years, Leah (Hersberger); two sons, Royce and Rex Renbarger; a sister, Mary Lou Dickerson; and two brothers, Ralph and Jay Lee Renbarger.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel with Pastor Donna Herring and Mr. Harold Hahn officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals or the Madison County Association for the Blind.
