Rev. Arlena Sue (Rybolt) Wood, 80, of Anderson died on February 6, 2022 at IU Health North in Carmel after an extended illness. She was born on September 27, 1941 in Anderson to Hansel and Frances (Wright) Rybolt. She graduated from Anderson High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accounting along with a minor in Music from Anderson College. She was an accountant at Anderson College for 15 years and Guide Lamp for 10 years. She was a Chaplin for over 10 years at Madison Park Church of God and Community Hospital. She attended both Madison Park Church of God and The Church at the Crossing. She enjoyed playing the piano, taking Light Rider Tours and especially helping people. She was a member of the Arbor Foundation. She is survived by her three children, Kendra Wood and Kendall (Karen) Wood all of Indianapolis and Kevin (Bonnie) Wood of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four grandchildren, Acacia (Daniel) Bixby, Amanda (Tyler) Floyd, Summer Wood and Ryan Green; five great-grandchildren, Aria and Addison Bixby, Brennen, Aleighya and Mireya Floyd; sister-in-law, Mary Kay Rybolt of Anderson; brother-in-law, Charlie Talbert of York, PA; three nieces and nephews, Cindy Kadenge, Meredith (Andrew) Heil, and Peter (Devin) Talbert. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Madonna Talbert and brother, Stephen Rybolt. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Madison Park Church of God with Rev. Andrew Miller officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 hours prior at the church. Memorial Contributions may be given to Madison Park Church of God or The Church at The Crossing. Post online condolences at www.rozelle-johnson.com
