Richard E. "Rick" Campbell

Richard E. "Rick" Campbell, 71, of Anderson, passed away peacefully after a long battle with a chronic illness on August 29, 2024. He was born on January 19, 1953, in Terre Haute, Indiana, the son of Margaret and Ed Campbell.

Rick graduated from Lawrence Central High School.

He worked for 15 years at A.O. Barnes as a tool salesman.

He was a member of Anderson Church of Christ and was looking forward to meeting his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, face to face.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Patty Campbell; daughters, Amanda (Kyle) Smith and Brooke (Richard) Thomas; and grandchildren, Nic, Karleigh, Paislee, Alivia, Avery, and Kate.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, BreAnne.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff in the ICU and Palliative Care departments at Community Hospital in Anderson for all their love and care of Rick.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11:30 am, at the Anderson Memorial Park.
