Richard G. Mast

Richard G. Mast, 91, of West Point, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 9:10 p.m. at Franciscan Hospital in Lafayette. Richard was born on July 31, 1930 in Goshen, IN to the late Guy G. and Zelma Louise (Slater) Mast. He graduated from Anderson High School, and went on to serve in the United States Navy. He was wounded in combat while in the Korean War. He married Dorothy Roundtree, and she survives. Richard worked as an Engineer for Consolidated Industries. He was a member of the VFW #3318, 40&8 in Anderson, the American Legion #492, and the Moose Lodge in Attica.
Surviving along with his wife, are three children, Kirk Edward (Terri) Mast of Bedford, Casey Lee (Bridget) Mast of Lafayette, and James Edward Lank of Lafayette. Also surviving, is one grandchild, Morgan Kelly Lank.
He is preceded in death by two sons, Richard Bryan Mast, and Rusty Kent Mast, and one sister, Judith Mast.
