Richard L. McDuffee, 86, of Anderson, passed away on Dec. 19, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on Dec. 1, 1935, in Anderson, and resided most of his life in Markleville and Anderson. Richard graduated from Markleville High School. He then served his country in the National Guard and United States Air Force. He worked for Warner Press and retired after 27 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post 127. Richard is survived by his brothers, Ted McDuffee, Jim (JoAnne) McDuffee, and Joe (Susan) McDuffee; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gentry and Orabelle McDuffee; and siblings, Charles McDuffee, Jack McDuffee, and Judith McDuffee. Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson. Services will follow visitation at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Rick Vale officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
