Richard Taylor

Richard Taylor, 82, of Anderson, passed away on June 8, 2019 at his residence. He was born on November 5, 1936 in Eden, and resided most of his life in Anderson.

Richard graduated from Eden High School, and retired as a Journeyman Electrician at Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 30 years of service, and also owned and operated Hearthside Farms in Emporia..

Farming and family was his life.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Janice Taylor of Anderson; son, Don Taylor, Gary Taylor of Anderson; brothers, Wayne (Patti) Taylor, Russell (Geri) Taylor of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Betty Baker of Campbell, CA; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; faithful K9 companions, Beau and Rocky.

He was preceded in death by his son, Richard S Taylor; parents, Frank and Eileen Taylor; brothers, Larry Taylor, Jerry Taylor.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019, 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St. Anderson.

Graveside services will be at 2:45 pm, Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Anderson Memorial Park, with Rev. Gary Klinger officiating.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.

The family would like to give a "Special Thanks" to, Dr. Robert Beeson; Dr. Shah; Northview Essential Living; and Kindred Hospice for their loving care of Richard.
