Ricky Eugene Alford

Ricky Eugene Alford, 79, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on May 12, 2026, at his home. Born on October 8, 1947, to Floyd and Beulah Alford, Ricky was a lifelong Anderson resident. A proud graduate of Anderson High School, he later took classes at Ball State University.

After a long career as a press operator at Delco Remy, a division of General Motors, Ricky retired, but his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force, and he was also an active member of the Masons and the Scottish Rite at one point in his life.

Ricky is survived by his children, Dawn (Daniel Hopkins) Kelly and Casey (Bobi) Alford; Grandchildren, Dillon Kelly, Danielle Kelly, Logan Alford, and Aaron Alford. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026 starting at 1:00pm at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
