Robert (Bob) Lee Ellingwood

Robert (Bob) Lee Ellingwood, 74, of Anderson, passed away on July 28, 2025. He was born on December 3, 1950, in Anderson, Indiana, the son of Ralph Ellingwood, Sr. and Mary Flook.

Bob graduated from Anderson High School, class of 1969. He served his country in the United States Army.

He retired from General Motors after 30 years.

He was a member of UAW Local 23. He enjoyed watching NFL, IU and Pacers basketball, Cubs baseball, and NASCAR.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ellingwood; son, Chad (Ila) Ellingwood; grandchildren, Austin and Isaac Ellingwood; brother Ralph (Arlene) Ellingwood; sisters, Judy (Jerry) Alexander and Nancy (Mel) Jolliff; brother-in-law, Dairel (Lisa) McCormick; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and special great nieces and nephews, Evon, Ava, Draven, and Ivy McCormick.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mary; father and mother-in-law, Haskell and Ila McCormick; and sister-in-law, Debbie McCormick.

A private burial and graveside service will be held at Anderson Memorial Park with Pastor Kerry Robinson officiating.
