Robert Earl Burch, 84, Anderson, passed away on early Sunday morning, December 22, 2024 at the Morrison Woods Health Care Center Muncie, following an extended illness. He was born on August 11, 1940 in Bloomington, Indiana the son of Pearl Marie (Hazel) and Earl Burch.
Robert graduated from Logansport High School in 1958 and later became a Meat Merchandiser for Pay Less Super Markets in Anderson and LaFayette for many years. He was also a Meat & Deli Merchandiser for grocery stores in Evansville & Muncie . Bob married the love of his life Cheryl (Caudill) Burch on October 13, 1984 in Anderson. He was a member of the Woodhaven Christian Church Bloomington and a former member of the Southern Heights Christian Church in Anderson. Mr. Burch enjoyed working on, and showing his 1971 Dodge Challenger, where he won several trophies, bowling.
Besides his loving wife of 40 years, Cheryl, he is also survived by his son, Gary Robert Burch and, his daughters, Sherri (Lloyd) White of Anderson, IN, Michelle (Michael Muston) Nixon of Carmel, IN, 5 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Kay (Burch) Metzger, several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, IN on Thursday December 26, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Mark Freeman officiating.
Burial will follow at the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory on Thursday, December 26, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. until time of the service.
