Robin K. Jones

Robin Kay Jones, 69, of Anderson, passed away at her residence after a brief battle with cancer on August 27, 2022. She was born on May 6, 1953, in Anderson, Indiana, where she resided most of her life.

Robin graduated from Anderson High School in 1971.

She was a caring and loving mother and grandmother, who would help anyone in need. She had a deep faith and a love of animals. She was an avid reader and loved trivia. Some of her other hobbies included playing pool and playing cards, but one of her favorite things to do was playing Scrabble with her friend, Mary, for hours on end. She also loved to camp, she appreciated the peacefulness of nature. She loved football and baseball and enjoyed watching the Colts and her beloved Cubbies.

Robin is survived by her loving children, Christopher (Kennita) Jones of Indianapolis and Jennifer (Josh) Gilman of Summitville; grandchildren, Jace and Luke Gilman; niece, Emily (John) Murray; and great-nephews, Jack and Evan. Also, surviving are her siblings, Melanie and Tim.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Clear; grandparents, George and Esther Clear; and brother, Jeff Clear.

Cremation will take place without any services at this time.
