Ronald L. Swindell

ALEXANDRIA, IN – Ronald L. Swindell, 81, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, at The Woodlands in Muncie following an extended illness.

He was born on November 13, 1943, in Anderson to Carl and Jean (Woolen) Swindell and has lived in this area all his lifetime. Ron was a graduate of Frankton High School-Class of 1961. He was a millwright at Delco-Remy and retired after 49 years. He helped operate the family business, Swindell Farm Supplies. Ron enjoyed tinkering with classic cars.

Survivors:

3 Sons- Trent (Shawn) Swindell, Tyler (Patricia) Swindell and Troy (Angela) Swindell all of Alexandria

Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Former wife-Marcia Swindell of Fairmount

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-Todd Swindell, a brother-Paul Swindell, 2 nephews- Michael Swindell and Patrick Swindell

Cremation will take place with private interment services at Anderson Memorial Park, Anderson, Indiana.

Ron’s care and cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria.
