Russell E. Franklin

Russell served in the United States Marine Corp and Army and he is a retiree from General Motors (Delco Remy).

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Judith M. (Carpenter) Franklin; daughter, Candace (Franklin) Greenlee, daughter and son-in-law, Ruby (Franklin) and John Swingley, daughter and son-in-law, Laurie (Franklin) and Rick Brough, and daughter, Anna (Franklin) Addision; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Susie Harper and Russell Franklin, his in-laws, Ruby and Walter Carpenter, three sisters, Dorothy Boyd, Eileen Simpson, and Barbara Stroud, and his son, Russell E. Franklin, Jr.

Visitation will take place on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, with a Funeral Service on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM officiated by Pastor J. Michael Johnson. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park.
