Ruthann Murphy Jackson

Ruthann Murphy Jackson, 84, passed away May 8, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born May 25, 1940, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and moved to Ft. Myers, Florida in 1986.
Ruthann was a graduate of Ball State University.
She was a kindergarten school teacher for over 30 years.
Ruthann was dedicated to serving Christ and spent over 15 years volunteering at the McGregor Baptist Church Food Pantry as part of that service.
She is survived by children, Karen A. Jackson of Jacksonville and William Michael "Mike" Jackson (Roseann) of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Brandon Michael Jackson, Ryan William Jackson and Gavin Robert Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Frances Murphy (Coleman) and husband, William H. Jackson, whom she married November 4, 1961.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory; 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana.
Services will be Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 12:30 pm, at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Gary Klinger officiating.
Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
