Sharon (Sheri) Kay Harmeson

Sharon went home to be with the Lord on 10/14/2024 in Newburgh, IN. She was born on 3/28/1943 in Rockville, IN. Sheri attended Anderson University and married Tom Harmeson on 9/29/1963, and was married for 59 years.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Roy Myers, and her mother, Anna Myers, and six of her brothers and her sister. She is survived by her four children, Donald (Chip) Harmeson (Vicki), Krista Graham (Kenny), Karyl Harmeson, and Derek Harmeson, four grandchildren, Andrew (Samantha), Kristia (Mike), Britney, Matthew, and four great-grandchildren, Adelyn, Annabelle, Kian, and Zane. Two brothers, Kenneth Myers and Bob Myers, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Sheri graduated from Pasco Hernando Community College and went on to the University of Southern Indiana, where she graduated with her early childhood education degree and went on to teach 4th grade at Stringtown Elementary in Evansville, IN, for 16 years. She retired in 2013 and moved with her husband back to Florida. Sheri enjoyed traveling with Tom, visiting with her children, reading, needlepointing, crafting, camping, and cooking.
