Sherry Lynn Coombes Hanna, 62, of Antioch Tennessee, passed away on November 23, 2025. Sherry was born in Pasadena, California to Floyd and Penny Coombes on June 30th, 1963. Paul and Edna Hanna, her grandparents, were also her adoptive parents. After attending her first years at Lapel High School in Lapel, IN, Sherry graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk, VA.

Sherry served as a Security Officer in Washington, D.C. She also enjoyed Star Wars, playing Dungeon and Dragons, and dabbling as a mixologist.

Sherry is survived by Penny (Hanna-Coombes) and James Cacoulidis, along with Brother-in-Law VanDyke, beloved nieces and nephews, Brian, Christopher, and Stephanie VanDyke and James and Kadence Grant. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marla Grant.
