Stephen George McFall, 81, passed away at home in Anderson on July 29, 2023.

He was born on January 15, 1942 in Anderson, the son of George McFall and Ethel Marguerite (Hanes) McFall Wright. He was a graduate of Madison Heights High School and was employed by Delco Remy for 30 years, retiring in April of 1992.

Stephen was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge, enjoyed sports, camping, fishing, racing, and most of all loved mowing the grass and watching the birds.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Love) McFall, whom he married December 11, 1971; children, Jay (Jessie ) McFall, Amy (George) Urbanski, Edie (Mike) McGrady; grandchildren, Jacob Chatman, Katie (Tyler) Shorter, Carter, Avan and Kylan McFall; brother, Keith (Beth) McFall; nephews, Mark Allen (Kim) Hanshew, Scott (Dawn) Hanshew, Michael (Lora) McFall, David (Shelly) McFall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Mildred Hanshew.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11 AM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Matthew Manning officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
